#denknoueersteensnajoh!

We have written a booklet entitled #denknoueersteensnajoh!, in order to request more attention for the transition phase and to collect the knowledge and experiences available about this. About preparing, planning, managing and executing sourcing transitions and all this involves.

As with so many things in life, you will also come a long way with plain common sense and good preparation with sourcing transitions. Yet experience shows that matters are overlooked for every transition process during the preparation and which can later lead to many problems. The booklet gives various examples and guidelines for this.

It’s good to learn from other people’s experiences and mistakes and it is certainly no shame to allow yourself to be supported by advisers. The costs associated with this more than pay for themselves, as the entire process runs faster and more smoothly. The costs of failure are therefore avoided.

In our practice we have demonstrated that hiring a transition manager doesn’t involve a single percent (!) of the total sourcing costs. An investment which is amply earned back and is therefore worth considering.

If you choose not to hire a transition manager, but to manage this yourself instead, this publication will offer you some insight into the process, as well as sufficient information for avoiding a few well-known pitfalls!

#denknoueersteensnajoh! can temporarily be requested free of charge. Complete the form in the orange bar in the footer and we will be happy to send you a copy.

We would be happy to be at your service in the role of Transition Coach, for example, if you would like to have a sparring partner before, during or after a sourcing transition.

The booklet was realised with guest contributions from, for example, law firm Pels Rijcken & Droogleever Fortuijn, consultancy firm Verdonck, Klooster and Associates and IT matcher Outsourcing Hub.
